FAIR FRIENDS 2019: An Even More Precise Sustainability Concept
As from 2019, FAIR FRIENDS, Germany’s largest sustainability trade fair, will address visitors in an even more focused and more precise way. Trade visitors and end consumers will get some days on which the products and services offered are even more specifically tailored to their needs. FAIR FRIENDS 2019 will start on 5 September with an informative and interactive Trade Day with two separate and already successful formats before the end consumer exhibition days start on Friday.
The “Marketplace for Sustainable Investments”, an innovative communicative format, allows visitors to get a condensed overview of the possibilities of sustainable investments in the insurance and investment worlds. Trade visitors consisting of financial investment advisers, founders and institutional investors can get a good overview of the status quo and the trends in the sector on that day. The “Trade Day for Sustainable Procurement” – also on 5 September – will offer municipalities, churches and charities workshops, lectures and info points on topics like food, energy, workwear garments and fabrics and interesting information about public procurement law.
From Friday to Sunday, i.e. 6 to 8 September, FAIR FRIENDS will offer trade visitors and consumers the entire product range of fair and sustainable trade with attractive products and services and concepts for sustainable lifestyles in Halls 2 and 3.
Shopping, the obtainment of information and the exchange of experience are expressly desired.
FAIR FRIENDS is also a well-established purchasing platform for retailers and specialised dealers.
The exhibition Friday is traditionally also the ‘Pupil Day’. Schools and kindergartens use FAIR FRIENDS as an out-of-school learning place. The exhibition thus makes an active contribution to education in terms of sustainable development.
Opening hours on the four exhibition days: 10:00 to 18:00. An entertaining evening will again await the visitors on Saturday, from 18:00 to 21:00: A Poetry Slam covering sustainability topics. The event also offers visitors the opportunity of talking to exhibitors and partners.
